Your dreams of being a post-apocalyptic merchant are about to take place. The sale of products and items between players will come to Fallout 76.
From the beginning, it was clear that BETHESDA wanted to create a sandbox in which players became the NPC. The developer wanted people to play a role in Fallout 76, but it didn't provide enough tools to make his vision work.
In a recent blog post, BETHESDA mocked some updates that are on the horizon. There will be more weekly events in the game, opening new vaults, a new PvP mode and, most exciting of all, selling players.
This update will allow players to settle in and trade with other wasteland land survivors, but so far it's unclear how exactly it's going to work. Will you be able to mark your camp as a store or carry a vending machine full of equipment? Will you have to be physically there to sell goods, or can you mark yourself when you are not hunting? Do you have a personal sales robot? Can you steal your store?
The answers to all these questions and more will come soon at some point, but for now we just have to wait for news from BETHESDA.
