The great reception of the Players Cup Pokémon has prompted The Pokémon Company to start their next event as soon as possible. Many of us have been surprised by the recent announcement of this unmissable event that is a few weeks away from its start.
Three intense months of play in the Pokémon II Players Cup recently ended, and The Pokémon Company has already revealed that the Pokémon Player Cup III will start from January to April 2021 .
This will be the third consecutive Players Cup to feature the Pokémon TCG, while Pokkén Tournament DX returns after be absent from the Pokémon Players Cup II .

Important details about the Pokémon Player Cup III
Participation in the Pokémon III Players Cup is open to all players in the Master category. The tournament will only be held online and will have the best Pokémon players in the world.
There will be three different competitions, corresponding to. The first from the Pokémon Card Game, the second from the Pokémon Sword and Shield video games, and the last from Pokkén Tournament DX video game.
Validate your participation and link your accounts to the Pokémon Trainer Club
To validate your participation you must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account and a player ID before January 18 at 10:00 a.m. m. PST. Pokémon TCG players will also need to be logged into the Pokémon TCG Online with a player ID linked to their Pokémon Trainer Club account between October 18, 2020 and January 18, 2021.
Pokémon Sword and Shield
Players of the video games Pokémon Sword and Shield will fight in a Cup Qualifying Tournament. Pokémon III players to get a place in their Regional Qualifying Tournament, which will take place from January 15-17, 2021 . Each of them will need to have their Pokémon Trainer Club account linked to their Nintendo account before the Pokémon Player Cup III Qualifier Tournament begins.

Pokkén Tournament DX players will participate in the online Qualifying Tournaments in their respective regions. All players will need to register online prior to the qualifying tournament date and will need to have a Discord and Battlefly account to participate.
