The world of video games is usually mysterious and treacherous. Consequently, reflexes and being in the right outfit are the difference between life and death. Especially in games like NieR: Automata where a single bullet or a knife are vital. Therefore, HDGamers brings you the complete weapons of NieR Automata.
The world of NieR Automata
Before entering as such the list of all weapons of NieR Automata with which you can make and undo left and right. It is important that you know a series of missions that guide the universe of this great game.
The reason for this is that in each of the missions that we will present below, you will be able to find some of the rarest weapons or accessories that you will meet later in this installment. Therefore, it is time to start our journey through the missions that are part of the world of NieR Automata .
Find a gift
This is a fairly simple side quest to do as it just involves going to a point in the desert and grabbing the quest item. With this you will have as part of your reward a Blade of type 40 and the program of bombs of the Pods (both will be described later).
However, the most complex part of this secondary mission is the fact that it usually coincides with a main mission that has you doing a similar task. However, you must be very attentive to your message box since you can start this mission and each of the steps to follow.
Lost girl
This is a mission you can find in Pascal’s Village which consists of escorting a machine called Little Sister and protecting it from continuous ambushes by enemy machines.
It is quite easy since the enemies do not represent a complex challenge. However, there are usually some errors with the game code that will prevent you from completing it.
Specifically we mean that both Little Sister and the enemies will stop moving, generating a kind of failure in the game.
This error can be easily solved by just attacking the ground or backing up a bit. These small acts should be more than enough to carry out this mission of NieR Automata.
Facts about the old world
This is a mission where you only have to go to certain points within the map. However, you will not have an entry reference.
Therefore, in HDGamers we have given ourselves the task of locating the objects of interest and pointing out their exact location on the map that we will present below.
Inheritance of the past
This is another mission where you will not have any reference point and where you must collect objects scattered throughout the vast desert.
To be able to do it, you will have to count the scanner program of the Pods and tons of patience.
After you get the first item, you will need to return to the NPC where you first took it. Then, it will send you to collect another 3 objects where you just have to repeat the same procedure.
Once you get them, you return to the character who will send you the third and last time to find an item. Although the locations are complicated since you will practically depend on the vision, with the maps that we will present below you could have more than a help.
However, on this last trip you will have to show off your combat skills since you will be ambushed. But, if you manage to get out alive, the mission will be complete when you deliver the last relic.
Secret unmarked side mission
This is one of the most complicated hidden mission chains you will come across. So your skills with weapons from NieR Automata should be quite high.
In this sense, we recommend that you have them at level 4 and, last but not least, you can defeat a boss level 99. Not bad, right?
Also, it is one of the longest side missions in the game so it is divided into two parts. Which, you will know below.
Part 1
For the first part of this mission, we recommend using the 9S. So make sure you have him.
Now we will present you step by step the events that you will have to overcome to complete it.
- Find Emil .
- After talking to him, he will mention that he lives “underground”.
- Go to the big sewer pipe.
- Once underground, descend to the lowest level and continue until you reach a door with two enemy shields protecting it.
- This door will open if it is correct. That is, the entrance to Emil ‘s house.
- Enter and steal Emil’s mask.
- Go back and talk to Emil.
- She will tell you about her new security measure.
- Then you will have to go back underground >>
- Go back to Emil’s house once more. There will be a closed chest.
- Hack it and you will receive a head from Emil.
- Prepare to fight as Emil will ambush you at the door. (This is the level 99 boss that we previously discussed =
- If you can defeat him, he will drop Emil Heads on the ground.
Part 2
To start this part of the mission, you must have your weapons at level 4. That is why we made the recommendation to have this level from the beginning of it.
In addition, it is important that you know that at this point you can use the character of your choice. So feel free to choose who to fight with.
Like the previous part, we will present each scenario that you will face in this second half.
- To start this part you have to go to the Shopping Center District and locate Emil .
- He will give you a new quest to which you will have to go to the desert.
- When you are here, you will stumble upon another amazing level 99 boss battle.
- One of them will try to self-destruct at a certain point in the fight.
- If you let it do it, it will give you one of the alternative endings.
- If you destroy it, the quest chain will end.
With this, we have made a fairly complete tour of some of the side missions that will give you access to certain weapons and accessories of NieR Automata . Which we will explore below.
NieR’s Weapons: Automata
The universe of weapons of NieR Automata is so extensive that it is quite difficult to focus on a single compendium of these tools.
Even more so when we find a great variety of options that give us when selecting the most suitable skills to carry out any mission.
However, in HDGamers we have given ourselves the task of collecting each of the weapons of NieR Automata in a list where you can see not only the characteristics and benefits of each of them, but the place or mission to obtain them.
In addition, at the end of the list that you will see below, we will present a section of great importance for the development of the game such as power-ups and abilities.
Therefore, it is time to start breaking down and getting to know each of the best allies that we will have in our adventure by NieR Automata.
Swords and short blades
The vast majority of combat we will face in the game will be melee. Therefore, it is important to get to know the weapons of NieR Automata that will give us the advantage over our opponents.

Types of Pods
Therefore, understanding that you have an extensive universe of possibilities in terms of skills, we can find various types of pods . Being more specific, in NieR Automata you have 3 types of these curious accessories.
Pod A
The first type that we will highlight will be the Pod A not for being the most basic of all, but for being the only one you have from the beginning of your adventure. It is because of it that you can shoot bullets at your targets causing considerable damage, especially when you use grenades.
Pod B
The next addition that we will expose will be the Pod B which, in short, will allow you to fight with laser beams continuously. So if you have already imagined it, you will make a real disaster with the bodies of your enemies.
More when you equip a larger laser. After all, the bigger the better an old saying goes.
However, unlike the Pod A , you will have to search for it. However, in HDGamers we have given ourselves the task of doing it for you and telling you that to do it, you just have to go fishing at random in the Flooded City .
Pod C
The last of the accessories that we can count on will be the Pod C . In this order of ideas, it is one of the most destructive and deadly of all since it will give you the power to use drones.
This type of Pod has the following characteristics:
- Greater firepower so the damage is incredible.
- The blocking time lasts less.
- It is a Pod that will allow you to attack everything in range.
Finally, the Pod C can be found in the Desert Zone at any time by following a suspicious noise.
Pods Programs
However, in order for Pods to grant you efficient fire and defense potential, you will need to equip them with their respective programs, which are essentially abilities that will complement your character.
