Fortunately, Bad Omen is easy to remove from your character in Minecraft. All you have to do is drink a bucket of milk, which will remove any status effects or debuffs, including Bad Omen.
Cubes can be obtained by placing 3 iron ingots inside a workbench (triangular in shape). By using a bucket on a cow, the bucket will transform into a bucket of milk that you can then drink.
Remove the bad omen
After directly killing the squad captain and keeping the negative buff, there are basically two methods to get rid of the curse.
The first guaranteed method of removing bad omens is to simply walk right into a village and kill all enemies in the raider’s attack. As a result, the curse will be removed, replacing it with the “people’s hero” buff.
What is Bad Omen in Minecraft?
Bad Omen is a status effect that causes a raid to spawn when an affected player enters a village. This does not apply to any other mob with effect if the mob is in a village. A bad omen can only be given to players and tamed wolves when they kill an illager captain. This does not happen in Java Edition. Essentially Bedrock Edition only has one Omen level, Java Edition has slightly different effects depending on whether you kill an Outpost Captain or a Patrol Captain.
What does Bad Omen do? How long does it last?
You didn’t really think you were done with the villager, did you? After all, it is a sign of things to come. The ominous effect lasts for one hour and forty minutes (100 minutes), and if you enter a town while it is active, you will trigger a raid.
Also, it is possible to stack it. It is possible that the severity of your bad omen will improve if you manage to eliminate many raid captains. The strength of your bad omen will directly correlate to the difficulty of spawning raids for you.
