Repair the Scomp Link or Scomp Link is one of the first things you’ll want to do in Jedi Star Wars: Fallen Order . Without fixing this ingenious piece of technology for BD-1 , you won’t be able to unlock special hidden chests around the world. You will not have to wait long for this unlock, as it is quite early in the game.
How to repair the Scomp link in Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order
The Scomp Link can be repaired in Zeffo , in the Outdoor Monument . This area is only accessible after unlocking the Tomb Force Push ability.
After clearing the temple, the game will take you to the next area, Kashyyyk . Do not leave Zeffo immediately, instead, navigate to the degraded monument area of ??the map. Make your way inside where you will find a workbench. Interact with the workbench to receive the Scomp link .
This Scomp link allows BD-1 to “cut” doors and chests . What this means is that those previously locked chests can now be opened. You must approach the chest, press a button for BD-1 to cut it and then press another button to open the chest, at which time BD-1 will spend a little time searching for an item.
Scomp Link is also the first part of a series of cutting updates. From now on, you can update the segment to hack other droids. These will start small, like being able to hack floating droids, and then you can hack the monstrous security droids.
It is also worth noting that now that Scomp Link is unlocked, you can unlock those red laser barriers. Try returning some previous areas to see which sections of the map can now be explored. There may be some secrets in Bogano to find, such as more stimulus boats.
