How to upgrade to Borderlands 3
For players, you’ll use the four keys you rarely use: the arrow keys. These four keys act as emotes. Go ahead and try them real quick. Check them out and see what your character can display. If you want to modify them eventually, you can go to your hotkeys and change them to a faster button, making it easier to show off awkward moves and poses when defeating a demanding boss or conquering a tough quest. Console players will now press the pause button. You want to make sure you give the button permission, because if you don’t give it long enough, you’ll just get the pause menu. By holding it, you can use the emote wheel and you can freely choose which emote you want your character to play at the moment.
How to use emotes in Borderlands 3
The emote process on console differs slightly from that on PC, so there will be two separate instructions. Here’s how to emote on a console.
- During gameplay, press and hold the Options / Menu button depending on the device you are using.
- You will then notice the emote wheel appear, select the emote you want to use, release the trigger and it should take action.
